Description | The U.S. 54 ramp onto westbound Interstate 70 in Kingdom City will be closed starting April 23 as part of a traffic shift. The eastbound lanes of U.S. 54 will be rerouted to a newly constructed bridge east of the existing structures, and the westbound lanes will shift onto the current eastbound lanes. The eastbound ramp off I-70 going onto U.S. 54 will be restricted to right turn only, with no direct access to eastbound U.S. 54. This work is part of MoDOT's statewide Improve I-70 project from Columbia to Kingdom City, aiming to add a third lane to both directions of I-70 between the cities. |
