Description | Information IRCON Bihar Jharkhand Tripura has come up with Rampur Dumra-Tal-Rajendrapul Additional Bridge and Railway Line Doubling with a ticket size of 1700.24 INR Crores. This project in Railway Track sub-sector involves The current status of the project is - and is being developed through the EPC route. Economic/Social Impact of the Project The project is situated between Railway stations Tal, Rampur Dumra & Rajendrapul out of which major part is in Patna district and remaining is in Begusarai District of Bihar. This project aims to provide faster connectivity between Rampur Dumra, Tal & Rajendrapul. The project was sanctioned by Railway Board vide PB52 of 2016-17 at an anticipated cost of Rs. 1491.47 Cr. Existing Rail cum Road Bridge across river Ganga between stations Rajendrapul & Hatidah has single line track and doubling is not possible. Traffic is 1.5 times more than the track capacity. Introduction of one additional Rail bridge in this section will increase its capacity. |
