Rappahannock County All Points Broadband Fiber Build-Out

All Points Broadband is nearing its first customer connection in Rappahannock County as part of a high-speed internet fiber build-out project. The project has faced delays due to supply-chain problems, funding issues, and a backlog of incomplete permits from the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT). The county committed $5.9 million to this mostly state-funded project in 2022. Construction began in October 2025, with subcontractors working in Castleton and Sperryville areas. The project aims to provide complete fiber connections to residents' homes regardless of driveway length, initially offered at $199 for the first year of service.
