Description | The Raymond B. Jones Engineering Building at the University of Alabama in Huntsville is a new 70,000 square foot engineering facility featuring three levels of state-of-the-art research labs, collaborative teaching spaces, and flexible classrooms. It is designed to promote innovation and experiential learning, supporting UAH's flagship engineering program and preparing students for careers in technical areas such as unmanned aerial systems, big data, hypersonics, and artificial intelligence. The building replaces a decades-old facility and is named in memory of Raymond B. Jones, a long-time businessman and community leader. |
