The proposed investment is a short term revolving facility to support the working capital (WC) needs of the civil engineering construction company RCI ( namely RC Rönesans İnşaat Taahhüt A.Ş. ) and direct and indirect subsidiaries of RCI in Turkey , Russia and Turkmenistan between 2014-2017 (Project). The Project will provide a bridge to the growing funding gap between progress payments and cost of production (to finance the operational requirements including purchase of construction equipment and materials, payments to suppliers, payments to subcontractors. Established in 1993 by civil engineer Erman Ilicak, Rönesans Holding (RHOL, Holding or the Sponsor) is an Ankara-based diversified conglomerate with activities in construction, real estate and energy and expanding into healthcare PPP projects. RCI is RHOL’s wholly owned leading engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contractor with primary focus on large commercial and industrial projects (shopping malls, hotels, business centers, government and private offices, industrial plants) for public and private clients in the CIS countries and the Middle East and North Africa region (including Russia, Ukraine, Turkmenistan, Belarus, Azerbaijan, Turkey, Libya, Iraq and Qatar) and Gabon.RCI obtains contracts for new projects primarily through competitive bidding in response to solicitations by governmental agencies, announcements by private entities, and by private invitations. RCI is not providing project design and development services. However, their direct and indirect subsidiaries provide project design services according to term of references determined by their clients.
