In ALGERIA UNHCR will protect the asylum-seekers through registration, documentation and RSD. In CHAD IOM will assist approximately 430 vulnerable and stranded migrants, reinforce the capacity of existing local service providers and improve identification of VoT. In CHAD, MAURITANIA and NIGER, UNICEF will promote access to protection and basic social services for 12,000 children including out of school adolescents. In EGYPT StARS will improve basic services for 4,000 unaccompanied and separated children and youth. UNHCR will maximize the efficient use of RSD. About 11,200 cases will be adjudicated.In LIBYA IOM will deliver capacity building and equipment, allowing Libyan authorities to identify and register migrants through a nationally owned system. SC will support the Child Protection Working Group for Libya by training child protection actors. UNHCR will facilitate resettlement opportunities and other durable solutions for at least 2000 individuals. In MAURITANIA UNHCR will support the transition to the national asylum system and conduct RSD. In MOROCCO UNHCR will facilitate referrals of 2000 asylum-seekers from the Northern and Oriental regions to Rabat for registration and RSD. In NIGER COOPI will provide solutions for 1500 asylum seekers and refugees through psychosocial support, non-formal education and health services. IOM will provide direct assistance to Nigerien migrants returning from Algeria through official convoys and support the newly created VoT shelter in Zinder. UNHCR will assist at least 1500 refugees and asylum seekers arriving in Agadez by access to basic services, appropriate health and psychosocial support. In TUNISIA SC will provide capacity building to actors working directly with children to ensure that refugee and migrant children’s protection needs are effectively addressed. UNHCR will ameliorate the smooth RSD processing of at least 1000 asylum seekers.
