Effective integration policies building around active citizenship are needed since they are conducive to efficient, sustainable, responsible and inclusive social models. Tailor made responses to support the integration of the youngest generations are an essential investment to guarantee long term succesful results and durable solutions. The present action aims at improving the support to young third-country nationals aged 18-21 by strengthening the presence of volunteer citizens (individual or groups) that accompany them in their integration process through mentoring programmes. The implementation of mentoring models will have direct impact on the young third-country nationals’ lives in relation to these key dimensions and policy areas: employment, education, social inclusion and active citizenship. Expected outcomes include: - increased no. of young third-country nationals supported by skilled volunteer citizens acting as mentors - increased exchange opportunities between third-country and host-country nationals - improved impact, efficiency and sustainability of local integration policies, strategies and practices - awareness raised and knowledge transfered in different EU local communities on mentoring as an efficient integration measure The action will be implemented through interlinked activities divided into 4 WP with their respective main output: 1- CAPACITY BUILDING through training and support sessions 2- EXCHANGE through ACTIVE PARTICIPATION in the framework of open thematic events designed by Organizational Committees involving third-country and host-country nationals 3- INTER-AGENCY COOPERATION through meetings with all the local actors involved in integration 4- SUPERVISION AND TRANSFER OF KNOWLEDGE through transnational and national study visits and EU events The beneficiaries are at least 200 mentors, around 200 young third-country nationals (18-21 years old), local actors involved in integration, the local community and other EU stakeholders and com
