-Objectives: to create a competency profile on restorative justice (RJ) for judges and public prosecutors to conduct an assessment of the training needs on RJ for both groups to design a training course on RJ using a blended learning approach to conduct a pilot delivery of the training course on RJ in 3 EU MS to evaluate the pilot delivery of the training course to disseminate the results and outcomes -Activities: Developing a competency profile on RJ Realising a training needs assessment on RJ in 3 Southern EU MS Designing and preparing a training course on RJ Delivering and evaluating a pilot training course on RJ Disseminating the results -Type and number of persons benefiting from the project: 6 trainers from the National Schools of Magistrates 30-36 judges trained in each of the 3 MS 30-36 public prosecutors trained in each of the 3 MS 60 participants in international seminar 200 users of EFRJ and EJTN websites -Expected results: Increased capacity to train public prosecutors and judges in the field of RJ Increased awareness and knowledge about RJ Acquisition of new set of skills to evaluate the suitability of RJ in particular cases, how to communicate with victims in this respect Development of an open attitude towards the offer of RJ -Type and number of deliverables to be produced: 1 report on competency profile for RJ 1 set of guidelines - conduction of focus group 3 national reports on the results of focus groups 1 transnational report – judiciary training needs on RJ 1 training course curriculum on RJ Before and after surveys Satisfaction surveys 2 new training videos 1 training manual 1 E-Learning management system platform Delivery of the training course on RJ in each of the 3 MS: 1 face to face training module on RJ (20 face to face class hours), 1 online training module on RJ (10 hours of online sessions) 3 evaluation reports 1 transnational evaluation report 3 publications 1 day cross national workshop 2 day international seminar
