Re-roofing of fifth Street Pumping Station Building

Sector: Water Supply and Storage • Location: Ontario, Canada

Source: Infrastructure Canada

Project
Completed

The existing asphalt shingle roof was installed during the building’s construction in 1992. It measures 6 m by 5 m and therefore requires approximately 32 m2 of roofing material in this project. Installing a new roof with a modern metal cladding will increase the longevity well beyond that of an asphalt shingle roof, and will maintain what remains the excellent condition of this building.
