The general objective of this project is to strengthen and increase resilience to disasters in Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) through the implementation of the Regional Impact Program "Ready and Resilient Americas", in its three areas of action, which correspond to the three specific objectives of this operation: (i) to improve the quality and availability of disaster risk data in order to support effective decision-making for resilience investments and emergency preparedness; (ii) to strengthen regional coordination mechanisms among countries, subregional networks, international organizations, and the private sector to ensure a rapid response in the event of a disaster; and (iii) to implement innovative financial strategies to enhance resilience and provide protection against disasters.
