Social Rights (SR) are fundamental rights and affect the daily life and wellbeing of people, yet they are too often sidelined in the EU’s & Member States’ governance. To remedy this, ‘Realising Social Europe For All and With All 2022’ (RSE4ALL) aims to contribute in 2022 to the development & implementation of social policy initiatives, especially under the EPSR through a just transition toward a more sustainable Europe. It is in line with SOLIDAR’s mission to support its members in their work to achieve social justice for all. RSE4ALL’s targets for 2022 are: 1.SR are more mainstreamed in EU policies & better implemented, by contributing to the development, implementation & monitoring of EU processes such as the EPSR, the Semester, the Green Deal, etc. 2.Strengthened capacity of members & partners in promoting SR at national/local levels •Increased capacity of SOLIDAR network to monitor policy developments & influence policymaking processes, notably the EPSR •Stronger and more sustainable network 3.Citizens & residents in Europe are more aware of SR. In 2022, the actions are organised in 4 work packages: Management & coordination, Advocating for SR, From the EU to the ground and back and Comms & dissemination. Amongst the main activities are the Training Academy, the thematic publication, the Social Europe Conference and 2 major innovations: revising the methodology for the SR Monitor to complement it with an Interactive Map and setting up SR Ambassadors workshops. The target groups are primarily SOLIDAR’s members & partners. Through their activities of advocacy, awareness-raising, services provision or research, they reach millions of people including many vulnerable groups. We also aim to involve EU/national/ local policymakers, other EU platforms & the general public. The main expected results are an improved progress toward the implementation of the EPSR & related initiatives & enhanced capacity of the network to influence policies at EU/National levels.
