Short description: REBUILD - Renew Europe Being United In Local Difficulties wants to create a permanent active network which can ensure innovative collaboration, active democratic engagement and civic participation. The main focuses of the action will be Solidarity in times of crisis and the Future of Europe, in relation to the health and political crisis that Europe is now facing. The Project wants to promote an active dialogue and foster solidarity among the European Countries through the role of young people, who are the future of Europe. Aims: -Direct and active analysis by young European citizens, fostering dialogue and solidarity starting from small local communities in times of crisis, given by the pandemic situation and by the recent political events -Foster young european citizens to share solidarity ideas, in particular for disadvantaged groups -Allow best practices exchange to learn from each others’ experience, cultures and habits; -Support citizens and policy makers to get together and exchange know-how on policy issues and give responses to the questions for the kind of Europe which young citizens would want; -Active involvement of local communities (directly and indirectly), public authorities and stakeholders in the debate; -Foster and improve conditions for civic and democratic participation of young people in actions at European level. Actions: -Local Project Launch Events in each involved Country -International Meeting in Györköny (Hungary), March 30th- April 3rd 2023 Target: Young people 18-35 yo, directly 300 and indirectly 35.000 citizens from 7 EU Countries
