The sponsor was granted a long-term power purchase agreement to sell electricity to the state-owned company Electroperu. The investment in the power plant was estimated at US$ 102.53 million. In May 2015, the sponsor was granted the license to undertake the project. Construction works started in early 2015, and the commercial operations commenced in September 2015. |
