Description | The Chepareria Technical Training Institute (TTI) project, initially under construction in Nasukuta in 2017, collapsed due to poor workmanship. The project was funded by the National Government through the Ministry of Education and mentored by Kitale National Polytechnic. It was intended to be built on 50 acres of land donated by the local community to address the demand for skilled labor in West Pokot County. Residents oppose relocating the project to a smaller land area and demand reconstruction at the original site. |
