Description | The Reconstruction of Durham St and Brock St consists of improving approximately 600m of roadway and extend the useful life of the asset while reducing future maintenance needs and capital requirements. The Project scope includes the reconstruction of approximately 280m of Durham Street, from County Road 27 to East Street, and approximately 240m of Brock Street, from Baldwin Street to Academy Street, and includes full depth excavation, road widening, installation of new road base and asphalt surface, and installation of curbs and sidewalks. The Project aims to improve road conditions in rural communities in Ontario and increase vehicle, cyclist, and pedestrian safety. The Project will result in improved and more reliable road infrastructure and transportation access. |
