Description
Description | The Project consists of the reconstruction of Mountain Road between Tenth Line and Cambridge Street in the Town of Collingwood, Ontario. The Project scope includes the reconstruction of an approximately 1.2 kilometre section of Mountain Road between Tenth Line and Cambridge Street to build a three lane cross-section with a paved multi-use trail on the south side, paved bicycle shoulder on both sides of the street, a sidewalk on the north side of the street, and signalization of the pedestrian crossing at the west side of the Mountain Road Bridge and the trail. Work also includes rebuilding of the Mountain Road Bridge and the replacement of the intersection of Mountain Road and Tenth Line with a roundabout. The project aims to improve transportation, trail networks to regional recreational destinations, traffic flow efficiency, and public safety. The Project will result in improved and more reliable road infrastructure for the Town of Collingwood, Ontario. |
