Description
Description | Given that currently the energy sector is facing a period that gradually evolve toward a “new normality” in which will have new ways of understanding and dealing with reality, is vital to build a responsible and sustainable recovery for all. In this context, the project aimed (1) Recover: to promote transnational cooperation reviewing how companies and workers in the energy sector have responded to the COVID-19 pandemic, in order to recovery, to exchange and to wider dissemination of knowledge, good practices, difficulties and learning from other’s success (what has worked, what has been learned, etc), bringing different perspectives and voices in terms of information, consultation and participation mechanisms and bodies; (2) Rethink: enable the target groups to familiarize themselves with EU legislation and policies in the field of worker participation, rethink what has been done in terms of employee involvement and what would be needed for a 'new normality' scenario in the energy sector; and (3) Rebuild: to support workers in the energy sector in terms of involvement in designing and implementing actions to address the impact of the COVID-19 measures on the labour force (e.g. telework, short term working schemes, lay-offs, etc). The action includes full project cycle and features the following activities: 1 face-to-face Kick off meeting in Bulgaria, 1 On-line experts meeting, 6 Online National meetings with experts, employees, workers, employers, trade unions, board-level workers’, and employees' representatives across the European energy sector undertakings; 1 International focus groups in Poland, 1 follow-up workshop in Portugal and Raising awareness campaign in 6 countries. The implementation is divided into four work packages. The proposal is promoted by organisation from 5 EU member states (Bulgaria, Poland, Malta, Portugal, and Romania) and 1 candidate country (Serbia). Duration: 15 months. |
