The Red Deer Community Infrastructure Preservation Project (the Project) consists of maintenance repairs and/or reconstruction to City infrastructure that provide and deliver services and programming to the public year-round. Facilities included are: J.J. Gaetz House, Golden Circle, Heritage Square, Kinsmen Arena, and River Bend Recreation area. The project scope includes: restoration work for Stevenson Hall Block, Gaetz Library Annex, and Crossing School House at Heritage Square; facility condition and assessment followed by repairs to maintain the building at J.J. Gaetz House; lighting replacement, hardwood refurbishment, and roof repairs at Golden Circle; replace and repair the chiller and ice plant upgrades to meet building/safety code requirements, arena flooring for Arena B, salinity testing and abatement for Kinsmen Arena; and work required to address lifecycle maintenance to ageing infrastructure at River Bend.
