Red Deer Riverside Meadows 2021 Repairs and Replacement

The Red Deer Riverside Meadows 2021 Repairs and Replacement Project (the Project) will repair and replace park infrastructure in the Canadian Pacific Railway (CPR) Bridge Park in the City of Red Deer. Two picnic tables and a bench will be removed and an existing art bench installation will be relocated. Fencing will be installed along the south side of 58th Street from Taylor Drive to west of the Canadian Pacific Railway Bridge for crime prevention through environmental design. The Project also includes the installation of approximately two metres wide asphalted trail link connections and site grading, landscaping, and tree replacement at the following locations: • 57th Street from the existing multi-use trail running along the Red Deer River; • South side of 60th Street, starting at the sidewalk west of 60th Avenue, running west until the sidewalk east of Taylor Drive; • North-south, west of 60th Avenue linking up to the existing multi-use trail along Taylor Drive; • North side of Fairbank Road to link to the pedestrian bridge at Taylor Drive; and • North side of Kerry Wood Drive, linking a bus stop on Taylor Drive to the sidewalk on Fir Street.
