The project will be built in stages, starting with a 400 MW, 2,400 MWh first stage with an initial investment of $1 billion. The 59 hectare site is adjacent to a new 330 kV transmission line and near other renewable energy projects. The project aims to support the Western Australian grid ahead of coal power plant closures and the integration of numerous wind and solar projects. |
