"Тhe ""Rediscovering EU"" project is an initiative aimed at preserving cultural traditions and handicrafts by engaging students, parents and teachers. Elin Pelin Primary School is a school with a 90-year tradition, established as competitive, guaranteeing the quality of education and upbringing. It is an educational, cultural, sports, environmental, art and information centre of the local community, providing an opportunity for its graduates to receive an education corresponding to state educational and European standards. Elin Pelin Primary School is a school that guarantees knowledge for the future, where responsible positions are formed, modern strategies, technologies and innovative teaching methods are applied. The school team systematically improves its professional skills for applying modern technologies and interactive and innovative methods of teaching and communication. Traditions continue with an emphasis on the high quality of mastery of knowledge and development of skills, key competences and attitudes in accordance with State Education Standard, working for tolerance and respect for children's rights and their individuality. Elin Pelin Primary School is committed to fostering a culture of global awareness and active citizenship among its students and teaching staff. With this proposal, we aim to implement a comprehensive program focused on ""Learning EU Initiatives"" to support understanding of the European Union's principles, institutions, and initiatives. The program will involve a total of 210 teaching hours, incorporating interactive learning methods, cross-disciplinary activities, and experiential learning opportunities to ensure engagement and impactful learning. This proposal presents a dynamic and engaging program designed to bridge the gap between the European Union and the students and staff at Elin Pelin Primary School."
