Reefline Underwater Public Sculpture Park

Reefline is an underwater public sculpture park off Miami Beach that features concrete sculptures submerged 20 feet below the waves to create habitats for coral and marine life. The first project, "Concrete Coral," consists of 22 life-size concrete car sculptures arranged in a 90-foot-long traffic jam on the sea floor. The project aims to function as artificial reefs providing habitat for marine life and to foster public empathy for coral ecosystems. Future phases include additional sculptures such as a concrete whale heart and seafloor stars, with a master plan envisioning underwater projects stretching seven miles along Miami Beach through the end of the decade.
