Description

Description

The REFLECT project is a Virtual Exchange initiative under Erasmus+ that fosters intercultural dialogue, digital inclusion, and employability skills among youth, with a specific focus on refugees and youth in conflict-affected regions. By creating inclusive, facilitator-led online spaces, the project empowers young people from the EU and third countries to connect, share lived experiences, challenge stereotypes, and collaboratively build shared identities rooted in empathy, mutual respect, and civic values. The project targets refugees and marginalized youth in Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Spain, and Lithuania and will reach 2,500 young adults with vital digital, intercultural, and soft skills training. These skills will prepare them for the job market in digitally transforming economies and diverse societies. Through interactive dialogues, critical thinking labs, and digital storytelling, the project supports the Erasmus+ priorities of inclusion, digital transformation, civic participation, and the promotion of European values such as freedom, tolerance, and non-discrimination. The project aims to complement physical mobility by reaching those who are often excluded due to conflict, economic disadvantage, or legal status. The REFLECT project will also deliver targeted training in digital and soft skills to enhance participants' employability, preparing them for the modern job market. With a strong focus on feedback and impact measurement, the project will generate scalable methodologies and resources for educators and youth workers to replicate and expand Virtual Exchange activities.
