Description

Description

Phase 2 of the Réno-Infrastructures project is a continuation of phase 1. It involves the replacement or rehabilitation of metro infrastructures at the end of their service life and optimizes investments by using them as a lever to improve customer service and the Société de transport de Montréal (STM’s) financial and operational performance. The work will be carried out in such a way as to minimize passenger inconvenience. Generally speaking, the repairs included in the Réno-Infrastructure project involve: - Components in different stations (lighting, power distribution systems of 600 V or less, architectural finishes, mechanical components, entrances, membranes, etc.); - Auxiliary structures (electrical, mechanical and structural components); - Tunnel sections (vault, walls, invert and drain under the invert); - Garages and shops; - The restoration of several works of art; and - Injection work to correct recurring infiltrations at various locations (stations, tunnels and auxiliary structures). The deliverables specifically included in the part of the project to be financed by Public Transit Infrastructure Fund (PTIF) are as follows: butterfly doors and door frames; Beaudry - Repairs to the station; Atwater - Repairs to the Cabot Square entrance; Viau station - Reroofing; Station lighting; Tunnel Vault (L4 tail tracks) and repair of two auxiliary structures; tunnel Vault (L1-L2-L4 connecting track); Edouard Montpetit, Acadie, De Castelnau, Fabre - repairs to downspouts; repairs to the sanitary sewer - various stations; Côte-Vertu - repairs to the station; and various leases required during the work.
