Regional - The Company for Habitat and Housing in Africa / Shelter Afrique

This project involves a Medium-Term Trade Finance Facility for the benefit of the Habitat Corporation and Housing in Africa / Shelter-Africa (SHAF), with a view to enhancing the availability of capitalized and unfunded trade finance (FC) for SMEs in the real estate and construction sector in 44 Regional Member Countries (RMCs). This is a $ 20 million Trade Finance Credit Line (TF-LOC) over four years. The TF-LOC will assist this company in developing a CF platform to leverage resources from other sources of funding for habitat development and to attract trade finance facilities from financial institutions (FIs) and development finance institutions (DFIs).
