The Regional Acceleration Project is supportive to the overall objective for Africa RISE initiative: to increase the number of people with enhanced access to climate resilient irrigation services in Eastern and Southern Africa (AFE). The Project will support countries across Africa RISE pillars through facilitating strategic collaboration, innovation, and enhanced in-country implementation. It supports innovation in support to Farmer-Led Irrigation Development, Performance in public service delivery and water security, and addresses the constraints of fragmented, single-project interventions by enabling alignment, shared delivery models, capacity enhancement and stronger partnerships across countries.
