Description | The general objective of this TC is to develop a regional action plan for the consolidation and expansion of CWUIC to enhance resiliency in the water and sanitation sector in the Caribbean. The specific objectives are: (i) Evaluate the performance of CWUIC's three programs ((a) Parametric Insurance Program (regional risk pooling), (b) Response Program, and (c) Resilience Program) as well as its organizational and governance structure; (ii) Develop a proposal regarding a set of actions to enhance resiliency in the water and sanitation sector in the Caribbean (including Belize, the Domenica Republic, and Haiti) through the consolidation and expansion of CWUIC, by leveraging new resources such as from those from climate funds; and (iii) Implement stakeholder engagement activities to ensure the appropriation of the plan by utilities and relevant stakeholders. |
