Description | A US$57 million concessional financing agreement to strengthen Liberia's national electricity infrastructure, expand renewable energy generation capacity, and reinforce regional power interconnectivity within the West African Power Pool framework. The project includes construction of a 30MWp solar photovoltaic power plant with 12MWh battery storage at Mount Coffee Island, installation of high-voltage transmission lines and associated grid infrastructure, and expansion of the Mount Coffee Hydro Power Plant by adding 42MW capacity through four turbines. |
