Description | The project¿s main objectives are to provide adequate capital markets financing to private sector companies such as ESCOs, and to projects that aim at reducing GHG emissions in Latin American and the Caribbean (LAC) countries. This will in turn contribute to enhance LAC¿s private sector initiatives in climate change, limit energy consumption, and reduce GHG emissions. The creation of a green bond market in LAC will allow obtaining an additional source of financing with more adequate financial conditions for the specific needs of these projects. |
