Description | To understand the economy, reliable and harmonized business statistics are need. Regulation (EU) 2019/2152 establishes a unified framework for European business statistics, including national statistical business registers and the EuroGroups Register (EGR). Top MNEs must be manually profiled while Bulk-tier MNEs can be managed through automation. Eurostat has enhanced the EGR to support direct profiling and integrated it with the Interactive Profiling Tool (IPT) for better data consistency and confidenciality. |
