Description | The Rehabilitate Existing Sidewalks and Address Gaps for Sidewalk Development in Medicine Hat Project (the Project) consists of the rehabilitation and repair of existing concrete sidewalks to address potential tripping hazards and sidewalk defects such as cracking, spalling and panel depression. The Project also includes construction of new sidewalks in areas where pedestrian connectivity does not currently exist, as well as installation of accessibility components such as wheelchair ramps. Rehabilitation and repairs of the sidewalks will be done in the Harlow, River Heights, and South Ridge neighbourhoods. New sidewalks will be installed in River Heights and wheelchair ramps will be installed in Southeast and Southwest Hill, North Flats, and several arterial and collector road locations. |
