Rehabilitation and Expansion of Aircraft Parking Aprons at Kabul International Airport

The project aims to improve the traffic and logistics hub of Kabul International Airport, the largest airport in Afghanistan. Due to inadequate maintenance over the years and increased traffic volume, the aircraft parking aprons have deteriorated significantly. This has led to delays in aircraft operations, including guiding aircraft to parking spots, supporting safe and efficient flight operations of commercial aircraft, and accommodating the increasing number of passengers. The project includes rehabilitation and expansion of aircraft parking aprons, installation of apron lighting, and focuses on enhancing aviation safety and increasing passenger capacity.
