Description

Description

The Oásis Atlântico Group, together with its Moroccan partner, has rehabilitated a hotel unit in Saidia, eastern region of Morocco. This is Oásis' third market, following its internationalization to Cape Verde and Brazil. With 614 rooms, four restaurants, a spa, conference center, and other facilities, this project contributes to the increase in tourism in a region where the unemployment rate is above the national average. In the initial phase, the creation of 368 direct jobs is expected, which will promote the settlement of the local population, as well as indirect job creation through the development and promotion of other complementary activities. The hotel unit also has a sustainability aspect, with the efficient use of energy through consumption moderation/reduction and the use of alternative and renewable energy sources, such as solar thermal and photovoltaic.
