Removal of accumulated sediment to improve functionality of the storm water pond. A bathymetric survey will be completed to determine the volume of sediment to be removed. The sediment will be analyzed to determine the appropriate disposal location. An excavator will be utilized to temporarily stockpile sediment on site in order to allow moisture content to be reduced. The removal works are capitalized as they extend the life of the asset. Based on recent experience with other storm pond cleanouts, additional site preparations will involve increasing the quantity of gravel required in order of heavy equipment to access the sites in order to address wet site conditions.
