Description | The Project for Rehabilitation of Gresic Steam Power Plant Units 1 and 2 involves the reconstruction and improvement of equipment due to aging issues. The project aims to convert the facility to use gas (natural gas) as fuel, in order to achieve lower emissions and environmental costs. However, due to deteriorating financial conditions and interruptions in funding, the project faced setbacks resulting in a design capacity of 60 percent of the planned power output. The rehabilitation work includes equipment upgrades and gas conversion construction to support the maximum power output restoration to 93-96 percent, along with environmental enhancements. |
