Rehabilitation of Hearst Drinking Water Plant Disinfection Reservoirs

The project will rehabilitate two drinking water reservoirs at the water treatment plant in Hearst, Ontario. The work will involve conducting structural repairs to the reservoirs (support columns, concrete, expansion joints), restoring corroded pipes and hardware, installing access ladders and emergency systems, replacing plastic baffles and cleaning and disinfecting the reservoirs. The project will fund improvements to reservoirs, which will increase access to potable water by increasing the safety and durability of the water storage infrastructure.
