Rehabilitation of the noted sanitary sewage system components will help ensure the uninterrupted provision of collection and treatment of sewage generated by connected users as well as commercial and institutional users (eg. food services, elementary school) in the Community of Echo Bay in the Township of Macdonald, Meredith and Aberdeen Additional. The proposed work will improve the reliability of aged and worn equipment extending the functionality of the asset and help ensure that the natural environment is protected. Protection of public health and safety is also provided to the connected users in that the rehabilitation will help ensure that sewage does not backup into basements.
