Rehabilitation of the North Huron Wescast Community Complex (NHWCC)

The Rehabilitation of the NHWCC (the Project) aims at extending the life span of the facility through the replacement of major mechanical component and roof; improving air quality and address humidity issues; enhancing accessibility to the facility; and improving the facility with energy efficient lighting, new mechanical component, vapour barrier and proper insulation. The project outcome will be an enhanced and modernized multi-use recreational complex that will be more accessible/user friendly; energy efficient; offer higher quality programs; and make better use of existing space. The facility will have an extended lifespan of 20 years which will enable it to continue to meet the needs of not only North Huron residents but also the needs of those living in neighbouring municipalities which do not have the facilities, programs and services.
