The work will involve replacing approximately 1,020 metres of watermain on three streets along with four main valves and one hydrant. In addition, about 303 metres of pipe that connect two wells to the pumphouse will be replaced and the affected roadway reinstated. The project will fund improvements to local water pipes and transmission pipes, which will increase access to potable water by increasing the reliability and capacity of the transmission infrastructure. |
