Rehabilitation of Victoria Street Watermain

The project will rehabilitate sections of watermain along with a well and reservoir in Southgate, Ontario. The work will involve replacing approximately 2,430 metres of watermain, 18 fire hydrants and 24 watermain valves, and rehabilitating a well and a reservoir to manage discharge into the distribution system. The project will fund improvements to local water pipes and reservoirs, which will increase access to potable water by increasing the reliability and capacity of the transmission infrastructure and the safety and durability of the water storage infrastructure.
