Rehabilitation of Wastewater Collection System Pipes and Pumping Stations

This project will allow the Village to clean and reline the collection pipes for the 43 year old wastewater system. There has been no maintenance of the pipes since installing, except emergency repair. In 2015/16 all lines were cameraed and all required work outlined. There is a great deal of infiltration into the system that in turn fills the lagoons unnecessarily. The project will repair all the lines and increase the life of the collection system for an expected 30 years as well as the long term capacity of the lagoons. The Village is determined to set up a preventive maintenance camera program on a five year cycle after the project is completed to avoid future large expenses due to breaks.
