Description
Description | The Project consists of rehabilitating approximately 4.9 kilometers (km) of Weslemkoon Lake Road in the Township of Tudor and Cashel, located in Ontario. The Project includes improving the road base though pulverizing the existing roadway and resurfacing with asphalt; constructing wider roadway shoulders; installing road barrier systems and signage where warranted; replacing centreline culverts and undertaking ditching to improve drainage; and clearing of trees/brush to improve sight lines. This project aims to reduce the probability of road failure and/or service interruptions, and improve road service levels. In addition, road erosion will be prevented, which will extend the life of the asset. |
