Description | Objectives: - create a safer transportation system, including wider shoulders for bicycle travel; - replace road, culverts, repair sink hole and reoccurring potholes; - replace and construct new sidewalk along entire length of road system; - road system back to 90% rating as per the road service level in the Asset Management Plan; - improve old infrastructure - continue to implement Council’s 2015-2020 priorities. Scope: Rehabilitation of Yonge Street in Armour. The work includes rehabilitating approximately 2,500 feet of traveled roadway, approximately 3,500 feet of sidewalk, and the widenening of the roadway. Outputs: The project will create a safe experience for all users of the roadway, including cyclists. |
