Description
Description | The RISE project – Reinforcing Inclusion through Solidarity and Empowerment aims to strengthen social inclusion, responsible digital transition and environmental engagement in vulnerable communities through the deployment of 23 European volunteers in nine third countries (Vietnam, Kenya, Uganda, Georgia, Ghana, Armenia, Nepal, Albania and Morocco), including eight young people with fewer opportunities (NEETs, rural youth, and those in precarious situations). Designed as a continuation of previous European initiatives, RISE combines hybrid training, enhanced mentoring, personalised support, and inclusive educational tools to generate a lasting impact on volunteers, host organisations, and local communities. The project has five specific objectives: 1. Strengthen professionals' skills in inclusive practices; 2. Deploy volunteers on humanitarian missions with a strong local impact; 3. Promote the skills acquired through Youthpass, mentoring and self-assessment; 4. Encourage the exchange of good practices around the digital and ecological transition; 5. Increase the visibility of the ESC programme through impact communication. The volunteers will primarily work on social inclusion activities (non-formal education, gender equality, citizen participation), environmental awareness (permaculture, waste management, climate) and basic digital training (digital literacy, collaborative tools, online safety). Led by ADICE and a consortium of 14 partners in 11 countries, RISE promotes cooperation, mutual learning and the transfer of inclusive approaches within local communities. |
