Description
Description | The City has identified 6000m of disintegrating and failing concrete tile and reinforced concrete sanitary sewers throughout the municipality. This project will allow the rehabilitation of the identified sanitary sewers by relining the sewers. The life of the assets will be extended by a minimum 50 years and a significant source of infiltration will be removed from the sanitary sewer system. The water pollution control plant will benefit with a reduction in wet weather flows resulting in fewer overflow events to the Avon River and an associated reduction in phosphorus entering the Lake Erie Drainage Basin. |
