Relocating and resurfacing park and ride, Relocating bus shelter

The main objective of the project is to resurface and restructure the existing park and ride (1705 square meters) in order to improve mobility/accessiblity. We plan on providing barrier-free parkings to accomodate disabled passagers. By paving the park and ride we anticipate an increase in the use of the parking. The proposed line painting to identify the parking spaces reserved for the passengers will also increase the safety and security of both passengers and bike path users. The existing bike path crosses the park and ride area causing safety issues. The other objective is to relocate the bus shelter that is currently located at 83 1st Avenue in Russell. The new location of our bus shelter will better accommodate our passengers and ensure safety and security. A new concrete slab will need to be installed.
