Relocation of the Bic Library in the Old Presbytery

The project involves redeveloping the interior of the old presbytery on the two floors of the building to relocate the Bibliothèque du Bic. The main works include: - the construction of an annex to the vestibule building with a book chute and a man lift; - the demolition of the interior partitions on both floors for an open plan layout; - the dismantling and replacement of the existing electrical distribution network by a new one consisting of two electrical panels; - the partial demolition of the floor of the second floor to create a mezzanine; - replacement of all doors and windows as well as existing floor coverings; - the addition of a ventilation unit in the basement and a lending counter on the ground floor; - reconstruction of the rear exit stairs; - reinforcement of the structure in the basement; and - two bathrooms adapted for people with reduced mobility.
