Relocation of the Downtown Terminal

• The project will involve design works to prepare to renovate City of Sault Ste. Marie’s main transit building to allow the City to relocate its downtown bus terminal to the main transit building. • The existing downtown terminal is aging beyond repair and the relocation of the terminal to the current transit building will provide a safe place for passengers to transfer, while remaining downtown close to all amenities. The project will consist of design works to support the planned future capital project. • The project will result in improved capacity and quality of, and, access to the public transit system in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario.
