Description | The project comprises the construction of ReNew Inter-State Transmission System (ISTS) XI Solar PV Plant (600MW), located in India. It is 100% owned by the sponsor Renew Solar Power. The construction was awarded during the tranche XI for solar power projects, part of the Inter-State Transmission System (ISTS), following guidelines by the Ministry of Power, Government of India. The bidding started in March 2023. The financial close took place in May 2024, as the company secured a total of $225.13m (or INR 18,745.13m)via five loans: Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation provided INR 4,519.55m ($54.28m); Societe Generale provided INR 4,519.55m ($54.28m); MUFG Bank - INR 3,235.62m ($38.86m) Groupe Credit Agricole - INR 3,235.62m ($38.86m); BNP Paribas - INR 3,235.62m ($38.86m). All five banks were Mandated Lead Arrangers. The SPV is ReNew Hans Urja Private Limited.
