Description
Description | REINA PLUS builds upon the REINA pilot project in 2012-2013, which brought about the setting up of a European Strategic Cluster Partnership (ESCP). Now, REINA PLUS will take the cooperation within the already set up ESCP to the next level reinforcing and further develop the Partnership, helping their SME members to take a leading position globally. The REINA consortium composed by the Basque Energy Cluster from Spain (CEPV), MERINOVA - EnergyVaasa Cluster from Vaasa, Finland (MERINOVA) and OÖ. Energiesparverband - Oekoenergie Cluster from Upper Austria, Austria (ESV) is enlarged by involving EnergyIn, the Portuguese energy cluster, who has been cooperating with REINA partners since 2011. In response to the call priorities, the specific objectives of the REINA PLUS project are the following:: 1. Support and reinforce the internationalization of European SMEs in selected renewable energy markets, previously identified as markets with high growth potential (Mexico, Brazil, and Chile), and new markets located in North América and North Africa with relevant opportunities in the short term, by fostering the collaboration and integration of capacities of companies involved in the four European Energy Clusters. 2. Strengthen and cosolidating the ESCP by shaping a common indentity and developing joint promotional activities. 3. Integrate European SMEs into global value chains to compete and take a leading position globally in the renewable energy sector. 4. Strenghten the cooperation with already contacted relevant stakeholders in the target markets and establish new strategic contacts. 5. Identify and launch specific business collaboration inititatives in the target markets, involving SMEs from di The consortium expects to achive these objectives on the basis of the previous possitive experience in REINA, continued in 2014 and reinforced in 2015 by the recently agreed Internationalisation Strategy Plan and Implementation Roadmap and the signed Partnership Agrement. |
